Cirrus Photo OCT

The Cirrus Photo OCT is currently the most advanced diagnostic instrument available in eye care. This instrument allows us to capture high-definition digital photographs of the retina and surface of the eye. OCT stands for Optical Coherence Tomography. This scan allows us to obtain a 3-dimensional view of the retina and optic nerve using only light!

This new technology allows Dr. Mamalis to see signs of macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy even earlier than possible before. Of course, early detection means earlier treatment and better eye health for our patients!.
